It's addictive.

The more you go to the gym, the more you want to go to the gym. Worked hard today - did the cross-trainer (OMG!) for about 5 miles, then 11 miles on the bike and some weights. Our sitter is coming over tomorrow instead of Sunday so we'll be on the road again... just so we don't forget what it feels like :) Hoping to do another half-marathon distance, but we'll see how it goes .... oh, and William still loves Tae Kwon Do :D

I am sort of hoping the bowflex is addicting. It arrived today and sits in our garage in four boxes just waiting for us... So glad William still likes TKD. My William is testing for brown belt in TSD this evening... I have butterflies.

How'd he get on?

We only managed 8.4 miles this morning btw - too much aching from the day before, and it got really hot all of a sudden.. not fun!

He did very well actually. William's biggest hurdle and the thing we have to prepare ahead of time for is this odd perfectionistic streak he has - where if he makes a mistake or can't do something perfectly he comes unglued and freaks out - we prepped him for that - lots of roll playing and coaching at home and at the karate school - he did fantastic. His form is not what it should be but it is great for him and they "get him" there - they KNOW his kick may never be what it should be - but they accept his best effort and encourage him. They are the real deal there - I just adore them.
